A true A-frame in the Sevierville woods
This one earns its label honestly: a steep black metal roof running almost to the ground, a glazed gable end, and a small flat-roofed wing on the side holding the entrance. It stands alone on a cleared lot off a gravel road, on the quieter eastern side of Sevierville, with hardwood forest pressing in on all sides.
That setting is the point. You won’t look out over layered ridgelines here — the view is trees, near and tall, lit up in autumn and softened at dusk by the string lights along the deck rail. Restaurants sit a short drive away and Pigeon Forge’s strip further still, far enough to keep evenings quiet.
Timber walls, glass doors, one private tub
The bedroom lives inside the triangle itself, with knotty timber planking climbing the slope of the roof and a pair of glass French doors opening straight onto the deck. Out there you’ll find the private hot tub, a hammock, outdoor chairs and those string lights — the whole evening routine laid out a few steps from the bed.
The living room, through a doorway, feels different again: white walls, a timber-lined ceiling, a low sofa and a compact kitchen run with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator and coffee maker, enough for breakfasts and simple dinners. The bathroom continues the design thread with a glass-screened shower and a rust-red basin under a window full of leaves. Air conditioning, heating, WiFi and a flat-screen TV cover the practical side.
Small by design, with real trade-offs
This is a cabin for two adults, full stop. There’s one bedroom, one bathroom and not much floor space beyond them; a couple will find it cozy, anyone else will find it cramped. Arriving means climbing wooden stairs from the parking pad up to the entrance deck, which matters if you’re hauling heavy luggage.
Don’t book it for a view, either — what you see from the deck is forest, not a mountain panorama. And like most properties on this side of the county, everything from groceries to trailheads means getting back in the car. For a quiet, well-designed retreat where the hot tub is the evening’s entertainment, those limits are easy to live with; for anything bigger or busier, look elsewhere.
